Welcome to the Climate Action Toolbox for Healthcare! This Toolbox was developed in cooperation with the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and co-designed with the Future of Hospital and Health Systems Initiative. It aims to guide hospital directors, healthcare service managers, and healthcare systems management teams to the tools they need to transform their healthcare systems and services into climate resilient and low-carbon models.

The Climate Action Accelerator is a non-profit initiative based in Geneva that aims to mobilise a critical mass of community-based organisations around the world to scale up implementation of climate solutions, keep global warming well below 2°C and avoid the risk of dangerous drift.

The goal is to help move the aid, health and higher education sectors towards a radical transformation of their practices, pursuing emission reduction targets (-50% by 2030) and a ‘net zero’ trajectory, in line with the Paris Agreement.
